Had a wonderful dining experience at Osaka in Salthill, Galway. The food was delicious and felt very close to authentic Japanese cuisine. We ordered the Chilli & Cashew Wok with noodles and the Vegetarian Ramen, and both dishes were excellent. The portion sizes were generous, making them great value for money.
The Chilli & Cashew Wok was slightly on the sweeter side, which we balanced nicely with the fried noodles. The Vegetarian Ramen was the standout for me, with a rich, flavourful broth that tasted authentic and comforting.
We also tried the vegetable spring rolls. While they were freshly prepared, they were a little bland compared to the other dishes.
One of the highlights of the restaurant is its ambience. The interiors are beautifully decorated with Japanese-inspired murals and artwork, while the hanging lanterns create a warm and inviting atmosphere. I was also pleasantly surprised by the variety on offer. They have multiple menus with an extensive selection of dishes, giving diners plenty of options to choose from.
The restaurant was peaceful and not overcrowded during our visit, which made for a relaxed dining experience. The staff were courteous, attentive, and provided top-notch hospitality throughout our meal.
Overall, I would highly recommend Osaka to anyone looking for quality Asian cuisine in Galway. They are also very accommodating when it comes to customer preferences and special requests, which is always appreciated. I look forward to visiting again. 🍜🥢✨

Had such a lovely experience at Osaka Korean BBQ! 🥩🔥 The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavour. Everything was well prepared, and the BBQ experience was really enjoyable.
The staff were incredibly nice, friendly, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Great food, lovely service, and a really nice atmosphere. Definitely a place I’d recommend and would happily visit again! ❤️🥢
The atmosphere in here is great and super clean. Staff are super attentive and very kind. The vegetarian options were great and I loved my vegetarian bento box!! It came with crispy fried tofu in chilli sauce, gyozas, some sushi, and some white rice. They even had a vegan miso soup to go with it. I would definitely recommend the vegetable gyoza on their own, absolutely divine. Very reasonably priced as well for the portion sizes!
